They’ll hold their second practice on Saturday, then take two weeks off for the school’s spring break before resuming in April leading up to the spring game on April 26.

On the latest episode of the Ducks Dish Podcast, ScoopDuck’s Max Torres and Justin Hopkins dive into some of their early thoughts as practice gets underway, as well as some top takeaways from Dan Lanning‘s first press conference since Oregon’s Rose Bowl loss to Ohio State in January.

Two players that dominated the discussion in today’s episode were Dillon Thieneman and Bear Alexander, who came over from Purdue and USC respectively. Lanning also mentioned there will be competition at quarterback, as well as every other position on the team.

Max and Justin also dive into the latest on the recruiting front. Oregon is bringing in a strong group of visitors on Thursday and Saturday to see the Ducks in action during spring practice. A couple of recruits that were discussed in today’s episode include Talanoa Ili, Tomuhini Topui and Chris Henry Jr. There’s also the big news of five-star Oregon tight end commit Kendre Harrison shutting down his recuritment.
