Well we have to get this out now since Thursday night features one of the best games of the weekend.

Kudos to college football for making Thursday night a little more entertaining. I mean there is the NFL but come on, we’d all rather watch college.

Let’s jump right into this weeks picks and take a look at the slate of Pac-12 games.

Utah @ Washington State

(Thursday) 7:00 – FS1

Big game. Great game for the Pac-12. I think a Utah win helps Oregon a little more but either way it won’t matter much as long as Oregon keeps winning its own games. This one seems like a real ‘trap game’ for Utah but we haven’t seen the same Wazzu we saw at the start of the season. It will be closer than it should be.

37-31 Utah

Oregon @ Cal

12:30 – FS1

Here is my prediction from earlier this week.

55-12 Oregon

USC @ Arizona

4:00 – Pac-12 Network

Arizona is improving but a week off and USC is probably going to be pretty tough to beat. The more physical teams have a better shot at beating the Trojans and Arizona is not very physical up front.

41-21 USC

ASU @ Colorado

4:30 – ESPNU

A couple of bottom tier teams here duking it out. Not much to watch but probably something you’ll check out after the Oregon game. Possibly.

27-17 ASU

Stanford @ UCLA

7:30 – ESPN

This is a tricky game for UCLA. Coming off a tough Oregon game you had all eyes on and you face a team that is typically well-coached. I do think UCLA is by far the better team and the ability to run the ball successfully should help them avoid a let down.

40-24 UCLA
