Well your Ducks are just a couple days away from playing. They have a pretty winnable game with Colorado this week. As you know there’s a massive game taking place down in SEC country this weekend with Georgia and Tennessee that will draw a lot of eyeballs.

However the weekend might get started a little early with the best game in the Pac-12 playing on Friday night.

We’ll start with that game and work through the rest of the schedule.

Oregon State @ Washington

Friday 7:30 – ESPN2

Fun game here. And one I think many Oregon fans will be watching closely. Oregon State has been up and down this season. Washington started hot but has faded a bit in the last few games. This is two middle of the road teams hoping to claw their way back into the upper group. I do think this game plays into the strength of OSU and the weakness of UW.

44-34 Oregon State

Oregon @ Colorado

12: 30 – ESPN

Since everyone went 56, I figured I’d pick a different number. It’s pretty clear, no matter which score you read, this one should be a blowout. It needs to be a blowout. If Oregon wants to get more consideration for the college football playoff, they have to earn some style points.

They should manage that against Colorado. In fact I’d love to see Ty Thompson get in and move the ball as well if possible with the second unit.

65-14 Oregon

Washington State @ Stanford

12:30 – Pac-12 Networks

Another game that plays into the strength of one team and the weakness of another. I expect Wazzu to get up early and never look back. Stanford will probably have to play out of its comfort zone in order to keep up. Which usually doesn’t bode well for the team doing that. Big win for the Cougs.

38-17 Wazzu

Arizona @ Utah

4:30 – Pac-12 Networks

I would really like to see Arizona be competitive here. I just don’t see it. Home game for the Utes who are starting to round back into form. I expect another solid win for Utah as they inch closer to a date with the Ducks.

40-28 Utah

Cal @ USC

7:30 – ESPN

Cal’s best weapon here is Pac-12 after dark. And I’ve said this before and I will repeat it, I’m not betting against USC. I think they’ll win. I think it will be way closer than it should be. But the Trojans will get the win which is all that matters.

41-31 USC

UCLA @ ASU

7:30 – FS1

Chip Kelly and the Bruins roll. The wins have been a nice story for Shaun Aguano who would love nothing more than to get the ASU job. I think that’s going to be a tough sell but if he really wants a chance at it, beating UCLA would definitely give him a boost. I still don’t think that will happen.

44-24 UCLA
