Welcome to the final edition of the Pac-12 predictions column. At least for the regular season at the very least. Hopefully the Pac is well-represented in bowl games this season.

There are some really good matchups this weekend. Of course Oregon is headed to Corvallis for the game formerly known as the ‘Civil War.’

Let’s get right into the picks as they get started Friday afternoon.

ASU @ Arizona

12:00 – FS1 (FRIDAY)

This will be a close game. Way closer than I think many would expect. I don’t know the series standings and am too lazy to look, but I’m guessing Arizona has been on the losing end more the last decade than the winning end.

Not this year. Zona wins big. Blasts the spiraling Sun Devils back to Tempe.

41-30 Arizona

UCLA @ Cal

1:30 – FOX (FRIDAY)

From the many good games this weekend, this is not one of them. UCLA has lost 3 of its last 5 games so I’m sure Chip wants to go out on a strong note and get the best bowl game possible for the Bruins. I have wondered if this was Wilcox’s last stand in Berkeley so I guess we’ll know in a few days if that’s the case or not.

44- 20 UCLA

Oregon @ Oregon State

12:30 – ABC

Here are the picks for this week, including mine.

34-24 Oregon

Utah @ Colorado

1:00 – Pac-12 Network

Another of the few games that really is a lopsided battle. Utah should have no problem getting past Colorado and hopefully also finding themselves in a good spot for a good bowl game to represent the Pac.

38-18 Utah

Notre Dame @ USC

4:30 – ABC

What a game. Well sort of. Notre Dame stumbled out of the gates to start the Marcus Freeman era. Since they have rebounded fairly well and seem to be on track once again. I keep picking against USC and they keep making me look foolish. Well fool me no more. I’m going Trojans expecting a high-scoring affair. I’m going reverse psychology for the Trojans the next two weeks so just be prepared for it.

52-45 USC

Washington @ Wazzu

7:30 – ESPN

The Apple Cup should be a good one. And neither of these teams are overlooking one another. If UW wants a shot at the Pac-12 championship game, they must win. Wazzu does have a dynamic offense that should give UW some problems. I like the Huskies here in a close one.

34-30 UW

BYU @ Stanford

8:00 – FS1

There’s Pac-12 after dark and then there’s 8 PM kickoffs. Holy cow. Be that as it may, the 6 Stanford fans that stay up to watch it will get a treat. The Utes will send the Cougs back to Utah with an L.

24-18 Stanford
