QUAAACK: 2026 OL Kodi Greene Commits to Oregon
2026 Santa Ana (Calif.) Mater Dei offensive tackle Kodi Greene has committed to Oregon. He announced his commitment to the Ducks on Monday afternoon from a top group that also included the Washington Huskies, the USC Trojans and the Michigan Wolverines.
Listed at 6’6″, 300 pounds, Greene made an early name for himself as one of the best linemen in the country, racking up 20 scholarship offers before picking the green and yellow.
“I feel like Coach (A’lique) Terry’s scheme just matches up with me the best,” he said of Oregon in a recent interview.
Greene spent the last two seasons playing at Sammamish (Wash.) Eastside Catholic, but this offseason he chose to transfer to national powerhouse Mater Dei in Southern California to play the remainder of his high school career. He’ll likely start at either left or right tackle for the Monarchs as they look to replace their pair of bookend tackles that graduated following the 2023 season, with Brandon Baker heading to Texas and DeAndre Carter picking Auburn.

Greene is Oregon’s first offensive line commit in Oregon’s 2026 recruiting class that is now up to four commitments, headlined by Eugene (Ore.) Willamette defensive lineman Tony Cumberland. The talented offensive lineman is the latest commitment for Dan Lanning from Mater Dei, with elite EDGE/linebacker Nasir Wyatt and running back Jordon Davison committed in the 2025 class.
Oregon’s newest commit took home MaxPreps All-American honors in each of his last two seasons, proving to be one of the best players in the country at his position. Greene was also named to the first-team offense for the All- Seattle Metro League Mountain Division for the 2023 season.
Following Greene’s commitment, two other big names to watch at Mater Dei in the 2026 recruiting class are 5-star Ohio State wide receiver commitment Chris Henry Jr., who has visited Oregon twice this year and was most recently in Eugene for the program’s Saturday Night Live camp, as well as defensive tackle Tomuhini Topui.
