QUACCCKKK - Oregon Lands DL Commit Ben Roberts
On Sunday morning Oregon fans woke up to some big news. The Ducks reeled in another commitment on the defensive side of the ball.
This time East (Utah) star Ben Roberts announced his commitment to Oregon. The 6-foot-4, 290-pounder was previously a Washington commit. Mario Cristobal and his staff were able to bring Roberts on campus for Saturday Night Live in late July and from there the Ducks were the team to beat.

Roberts is the No. 391 ranked player in the 247Sports Composite. The Ducks are in need of help on the defensive line in this class and Roberts certainly fits the bill.
Oregon now has 20 verbal commitments in the 2022 class. It’s unclear exactly how many more spots the Ducks have but there is a cap at 25. It will be interesting to see how close to the 25 cap the Ducks can get.
