QUACK: Five-Star Safety Peyton Bowen Flips to Oregon
Dan Lanning has done it again. On a day that a week ago was looking short on firepower, so far it has delivered in spades.
And it just went up another notch moments ago. The Ducks flipped another long-time commitment, the second of the day, this time of the five-star variety.
Guyer (Texas) safety Peyton Bowen shocked all when he only put two hats on the table. Notre Dame, where he was committed at the time, and Oregon. Most thought Oklahoma was leading this race up until about 24 hours ago.

Bowen rolled with an Oregon hat and really pulled off a shocker in the recruiting world.
With his commitment Oregon moved up to No. 8 nationally in the recruiting rankings. He is Oregon’s second highest rated commit in this class now only behind wide receiver Jurrion Dickey.
The Ducks might not be done with 5-Stars yet. EDGE Matayo Uiagelelei is also set to decide and the Ducks have been trending with multiple picks being forecast for Oregon in the last 24 hours.
