QUACK: Four-Star DB Tyler Turner Commits to Oregon
Oregon has scored a big commit on the recruiting trail Wednesday afternoon. Matt Powledge landed a key piece to his safety room with the addition of William J. Brennan (Texas) safety Tyler Turner.
The 6-foot, 180-pounder was down to Oregon and Oklahoma before announcing for the Ducks. Turner is now the No. 7 commit in the 2023 recruiting class for the Ducks.
Turner is the nation’s No. 395 ranked player in the On3 Consensus Rankings. On3 has him much higher at No. 195 overall however.

Earlier this week I caught up with Turner to talk about his official visit to Oregon last weekend. He gave the city, the staff and the campus glowing remarks.
Turner also noted in our interview he plans on enrolling early.
“The family feel around there. The PNW is a very welcoming region (from my experience) on its own and the staff, players and people around Eugene and UO just amplify that feeling.”
Oregon fans will also be tuning in Thursday at 4 PM PST to hear a decision from St. John’s (DC) defensive back Collin Gill.
