QUACK: Oregon Lands DB Transfer
The transfer portal is officially open for Dan Lanning and Oregon. The Ducks have seen a few transfers depart but just landed another big commit from the portal.
Via Kansas State the Ducks will bring in defensive back/safety Kobe Savage. The 6-foot, 205-pounder had 57 total tackles and 3 interceptions last season for the Wildcats.

Meanwhile Oregon has a need at safety. A year ago the Ducks brought in transfers Evan Williams and Tysheem Johnson from the portal. Additionally starter Steve Stephens also leaves after exhausting his eligibility.
Savage also visited Washington but the Ducks were able to secure his commitment.
Coming out of Paris, Texas, Savage started his college career at Texas A&M commerce where he redshirted. He transferred and played two seasons at Tyler JC before spending the last two seasons at Kansas State. He will have only one year at Oregon.
