Texas Longhorns wide receiver Xavier Worthy (1) and Washington Huskies cornerback Jabbar Muhammad (1) reach for a pass intended for Worthy in the second quarter of the Sugar Bowl College Football Playoff semi-finals at the Ceasars Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana, Jan. 1, 2024. The Texas Longhorns take on the Washington Huskies for a spot in the College Football Playoff Finals.

Dan Lanning is taking no prisoners. And that includes his assault on the recruiting trail and in the transfer portal.

The latest addition will certainly make headlines.

Former Washington starting cornerback Jabbar Muhammad entered the transfer portal earlier in January. The 5-foot-1-, 180-pounder had a monster season for the Huskies and was one of the best corners in the Pac-12 conference.

Moments ago he committed to play next season for Dan Lanning and the Ducks following Kalen Deboer’s departure to Alabama. Oregon was able to beat out Texas and Alabama for the lock-down corner.
