Oregon has landed another transfer, this time on the offensive side of the ball.

After hosting him for an official visit this weekend, former Western Kentucky running back Noah Whittington confirms with ScoopDuck he is set to be an Oregon Duck.

“I’m all in with Oregon,” Whitting told ScoopDuck. “I’ll be there for the rest of Spring ball and I’m ready to get to work.”

Whittington took an official visit to Oregon this past weekend and detailed the trip and why he’s excited to be a Duck.

“For starters I just loved the hospitality. They had good intentions and welcomed me and my family. My dad is handicapped so he always had a scooter and didn’t have to worry about getting around. They took really good care of us.

“The city was real nice, everyone that I talked to seemed really cool. The coaches were cool and laid back. It definitely helps having coach (Carlos) Locklyn there too.”

Coach Locklyn comes over from Western Kentucky this season which helped the Ducks.

“I really like his style of coaching. He’s after perfection, that’s what he’s striving for. He cares about his players a lot, you can tell. He didn’t promise me a starting spot or anything, he told me I’d have a chance to play but it’s up to me to earn it.”

Whittington has three years left to play. He will be immediately eligible as his one-time transfer to Oregon.

He noted he checked in at 5-foot-9, 195-pounds at Oregon and says his speed and physicality are two of his best traits as a back.

Last season he tallied 617 rushing yards and 2 touchdowns for the Hilltoppers.
