He is one of the most sought after targets in the transfer portal regardless of position. He was On3’s No. 5 ranked transfer portal player.
The Westfield (Ind.) native will play his next season at Oregon. He has at least two years of eligibility remaining.

Last season he recorded 70 solo tackles and 6 pass deflections. Thieneman was named as a freshman of the year with multiple outlets after his 2023 season with Purdue.
Oregon meanwhile will be looking to reload at the safety position next season. Oregon will lose Tysheem Johnson, Brandon Johnson and Kobe Savage after this season is complete.
It was earlier reported Ohio State was also a favorite for the talented safety from Purdue.
This is Oregon’s first reported transfer portal commit in the early window.
