QUACKKKK: Oregon Lands Four-Star Cornerback

A bit of a surprise for Duck fans on the recruiting trail but a nice surprise just the same. McDonogh School (Md.) cornerback Brandon Finney has just announced his commitment to Oregon.
The 6-foot-2, 185-pounder is the No. 191 ranked player in the On3 Industry Rankings. Listed as an athlete, he’s the No. 8 athlete nationally. Finney is expected to play cornerback.
Finney has long been considered a Penn State lean. In fact he wasn’t really on the Oregon radar for most fans until his announced official visit last week. It appears that official visit was exactly what Oregon needed to land his commitment.
