QUACKKKK: Oregon Lands Four-Star TE Kenyon Sadiq
Drew Mehringer has pulled off a rare feat in recruiting. The surprise commitment of Skyline Senior (Idaho) Kenyon Sadiq is a nice Monday gift to Duck fans.
Oregon was a late offer for the 6-foot-3, 222-pounder. And initially that late offer didn’t really seem to move the needle for Sadiq. In fact, in late July Sadiq announced a top three of Michigan, Washington and Iowa State.

However Mehringer was able to get Oregon back in the mix resulting in his commitment on Monday.
Sadiq is a big get for Oregon in need of a tight end commitment. The Ducks have secured some elite offensive talent in this class but had yet to land a tight end.
***ScoopDuck Eval: Kenyon Sadiq***
Sadiq is the No. 199 ranked player with On3. His On3 Consensus rankings is much lower however at No. 486 however.
The Ducks now have 15 verbal commits in the 2023 recruiting class.
