Running List of Jhop Predictions

As we enter a very key newt few weeks of recruiting, it’s time to take a look at some of my existing predictions. A few of them have been made this week with others dating back into the 2022 calendar year.
Below are my picks on uncommitted 2024 recruits Oregon has been mentioned with. I tend not to stray too far out of my comfort zone so the bulk of my picks are on Oregon.
Take a quick look at the list and a small update on each one.
Also be sure to take a peek at our weekend visitor list posted earlier.
Linebacker Kamar Mothudi
Pick: Oregon (3/8)
Confidence: 70%
Update: A month ago I said I could easily move this up to 80 or 90-percent. Headed into his official visit this weekend I could easily say the same.
Offensive Lineman Jac’Qawn McRoy
Pick: Oregon (4/18)
Confidence: 75%
Update: Still feel the same way I did when I made this pick and since last month’s update. Big official visitor this weekend.
Offensive Line Isendre Ahfua
Pick: Oregon (11/15)
Confidence: 65%
Update: As noted in the last update, Oregon isn’t actively recruiting Ahfua. Have said this several times now. Might be time to move it to Miami finally as I’ve been waiting for a team to move it to.
Offensive Line Brandon Baker
Pick: Oregon (10/25)
Confidence: 70%
Update: I still like Oregon here despite him not visiting in June. I do think Ohio State and Georgia have moved into the picture pretty seriously. But for now, I’m sticking with the Ducks as they have been the one constant.
EDGE Elijah Rushing
Pick: Oregon (3/8)
Confidence: 60%
Update: I’ve said this a few times already, but Tennessee appears to be the only real threat left. But I’m very good with my Oregon pick and would probably up my confidence if I didn’t lose my timestamp.
Linebacker Dylan Williams
Pick: Oregon (11/29)
Confidence: 60%
Update: I’m probably in a spot now where I would raise my confidence level. However I made the pick back in November so 60% for a guy who made a prediction more than 6 months ago isn’t half bad.
Linebacker Justin Williams
Pick: Oregon (10/25)
Confidence: 75%
Update: This was my last update and it’s still very much the same. All I can add is this, Oregon is battling Georgia and Alabama. Which means if the Ducks land Williams, it’s going to be considered one of the biggest recruiting wins in program history.

I still think it’s Oregon vs Georgia and it’s very, very close.
Safety Marquis Gallegos
Pick: USC (6/22)
Confidence: 75%
Update: With Gallegos not visiting Oregon this weekend after all, I feel like USC is the team to beat.
Linebacker Brayden Platt
Pick: Oregon (6/22)
Confidence: 70%
Update: I do think the visit this weekend for Oregon will be critical. Oklahoma is definitely in the thick of this one too. Hopefully Oregon can keep him closer to home.
Offensive Lineman Preston Taumua
Pick: Oregon (6/22)
Confidence: 70%
Update: As I said in the prediction earlier today, Oregon is in great shape with Taumua. And the visit he’s been waiting to take should hopefully be enough to get it done.
Wide Receiver Ryan Pellum
Pick: USC (6/20)
Confidence: 75%
Update: As I’ve said all week, looks very good for USC to land Pellum with Oregon being listed in his final two.
Cornerback Chris Johnson
Pick: Oregon (6/20)
Confidence: 75%
Update: Made this pick earlier this week and I’m still very confident in the pick. Johnson plans on making an early July commitment.
Cornerback Zabien Brown
Pick: USC (6/08)
Confidence: 65%
Update: It might not be USC, even though I think it will be, but it definitely won’t be Oregon.
Cornerback Aaron Scott Jr.
Pick: Ohio State (5/23)
Confidence: 75%
Update: Oregon is still swinging but this one is going to be very tough.
