As we inch towards the weekend it’s time to take one last look around the world of college football. Yes the Ducks take on UCLA but it’s at the end of the day meaning you got a whole day of football watching ahead of you. You should probably do some chores around the house too.

But here is our final roundtable for the week. With all of us pitching in on which games we are looking forward to. There are some good games around college football this weekend.

Here are our picks.

Max Torres: Kentucky @ No. 6 Ole Miss

I know everyone has always known Kentucky for their hoops program, but they’re also one of the more respectable and consistent programs in the SEC. I’m not saying I expect the Wildcats to upset the Rebels here but I could see them giving Ole Miss a bit of a fit or a challenge. Don’t forget they took Georgia down to the wire at home just a few weeks ago.

Linden Hile: Washington @ Rutgers

Setting aside the obvious Georgia-Alabama matchup that everyone’s sure to be tuned into, I’ll cast my vote for Washington matching up in a road test against undefeated Rutgers today. Coach Jedd Fisch’s Huskies got their first power four win against Northwestern last week in a 24-5 beatdown.

On the flip side, Greg Schiano has done a grand job with Rutgers’ program and his undefeated squad should have the advantage against Washington in a home environment. I’ll take Rutgers to win a close one here.

Collin King: 15 Louisville @ 16 Notre Dame

This is a bit of an obvious one if you know me, as I go to Louisville. The Cardinals had an okay showing at best last week against Georgia Tech and are pretty banged up across the board including losing another wide receiver for the year in an already depleted wide receiver core. The potential good news is that Caullin Lacy, one of the best wideouts in the country, may be back for Louisville. Last season Notre Dame came to Louisville and lost, and will now look to return the favor with Riley Leonard, a Quarterback with a singular passing touchdown on the season.

Jhop: Ohio State @ Michigan State

The obvious one is Georgia-Bama so really I feel silly picking that game. It’s an early season Super bowl and it’s served up right before the Oregon game. I went with the Buckeyes and Spartans because I think this is a great chance for us to see exactly how these two teams stack up as the next two opponents for Oregon. I think Michigan State will keep this closer than many expect.
