ScoopDuck Roundtable: Other Games Worth Watching

With a Friday game for Oregon it opens up your Saturday and your weekend. And there are some incredible games on tap. I’m excited to have the day open to watch.
Our final roundtable for the week as Oregon heads to Purdue later today. There could be some landscape-defining upsets on tap for the weekend.
Here are our predictions of which games we are excited to watch.
Linden Hile: Michigan @ Illinois
This feels like one where we find out which of these two middle-class Big Ten Conference teams is for real. Both have solid record with Michigan at 4-2 and Illinois sitting 5-1.
The Wolverines have a decided talent advantage but haven’t played up to it this year while the Fighting Illini have probably overshot their talent so far. Vegas agrees that this will be a heater with the line sitting at Michigan -1.5 as of Sunday.

Max Torres: No. 7 Alabama @ No. 11 Tenessee
Aside from Georgia vs. Texas this is easily one of the biggest games on this week’s slate. Both of these teams are very high profile but we’ve seen some chinks in the Armor. Alabama’s defense may not be able to keep pace with its offense, while the Vols’ offense has struggled in recent weeks, scoring just 14 points against Arkansas and narrowly beating a struggling Florida team. I’m a fan of Nico Iamaleava and I hope he can help the Vols rise to the occasion.
Jhop: Miami @ Louisville
There are some good games on the slate for Saturday and I am thrilled to have Oregon playing on Friday because of it. Hidden among those gems is this one. Which I’m going to predict ends up being one of the many upsets we see on Saturday. Miami struggles on the road and Louisville pulls it together enough to put Miami’s playoff bid in jeopardy.
