ScoopDuck Roundtable: Other Games Worth Watching
We are running out of Saturday’s to enjoy our favorite sport. The college football season has come and gone and we are nearing the end of the regular season. So embrace what we have left and enjoy them all.
This weekend Oregon heads to Wisconsin for one of its two final conference games. Oregon is a strong favorite in this one hovering around a 14-point favorite.
As you fire up the coffee and get the tv going here are the games around the country you may also want to watch today.
Max Torres: LSU @ Florida
This is typically one of the better rivalries in the SEC. Florida may be having a rough year, but with head coach Billy Nappier coming back in 2025 and quarterback DJ Lagway set to return Saturday I wonder if that will help light a fire under the Gators at the Swamp. Adding to the intrigue of this game: what would a fourth loss mean for Brian Kelly and the Tigers? I’m always here for the chaos so I’ll be rooting for the Gators.

Linden Hile: Missouri @ South Carolina
This game pits teams with opposite trajectories against each other late in the year in what should be a raucous environment. Missouri has struggled compared to preseason expectations while South Carolina finds itself peaking at the right time.
A win for Missouri would help boost the narrative around what’s been a lackluster season for them and likely keep them in the top 25. On the other hand, the Gamecocks have been hot lately and a win here would continue to build momentum for coach Shane Beamer’s squad heading into 2025.
Jhop: Tennessee @ Georgia
I had to go with this since it wasn’t listed yet. Runner up for me is ASU vs Kansas State. Come on Dilly! But back to Vols and Dawgs, obviously there are a lot of eyes on how this SEC finishes and who gets into the playoffs and where. This is a defining game for that and will possibly have an impact on who Oregon could face in the playoffs. If you’re at home watching our game, you’ll need to throw on a second TV or flip back and forth here tonight.
