Terrance Ferguson: "Coach Stein gets the ball to playmakers in space."
Oregon tight end Terrance Ferguson met with media Wednesday after practice. He’s one of the few remaining players on this roster that was on the team when Oregon beat Ohio State in Columbus back in ’21.
Ferguson talked about the offense and this huge upcoming game with the Buckeyes. Here are some of his top quotes and the video included below.
On the Win in Columbus
“I think going into that game they were really good. They had a lot of talent on that roster like they always do. Last game the key to wining that game was running the ball so we’re hoping to replicate that over here.”
On Supporting Dillon after INT’s:
“Yah 100%. He does the same thing for me when I drop a pass or mess up. Because everyone messes up. Remind him of who he is, he’s one of the best in the nation. He’s a guy who snaps back.”
On Big Games:
“You come to places like Oregon for that. Having that experience like we have on offense and defense. Knowing it’s going to be loud. There’s going to be highs, there’s going to be lows, especially when you’re playing a good team.”

On OSU EDGES:
“They’re elite athletes. Come off the edge strong. Good at getting off blocks. We’ve played a lot of good edges. I compare them to the guys we have. It’s nothing new to us when there’s good players across the line.”
On Receiving Success:
“Honestly it’s my guys down field blocking for me. I’m going to try and make the first guy miss. I give all the credit to the WR’s that are explosive players but they are putting a nose on somebody. Really just the other guys.”
On the Oregon Offense:
“Man it’s super fun. I think the biggest thing is you got all those guys that are super explosive. I think it’s the love for everyone in that room. It’s the best offense I’ve been a part of. It’s almost like a video game out there for us. It’s a lot of fun. Coach Stein does a great job of spreading the ball everywhere. Coach Stein gets the ball to playmakers in space. Everyone has the chance to be a homerun player.”
