Terrance Saryon Updates Recruitment, Talks Oregon Football
I recently had the chance to catch up with Evergreen (WA) ATH Terrance Saryon to discuss his game, recruitment, and impressions of Oregon Football.
Saryon is a 2026 graduate who is unranked by the On3 composite but listed as a three-star recruit by 247 Sports.
At 5-10 and 160 lbs, he carries good positional versatility and figures to fill out his frame over the next year or so.
He was in attendance at Oregon’s Saturday Night Live event this past weekend where he worked with a plethora of other high-end talent.
Below is my interview with Saryon.
Enjoy.
On what position he expects to play in college:
“At the next level I will be playing receiver.”
Fairly cut and dried here. He’s played the majority of his snaps at wide receiver thus far and carrying that over to the next level would make sense.
On his strengths as a wide receiver:
“First is getting off press coverage, I do that very well. Another thing I do well is creating separation in man coverage. The last thing I would say is finding the hole in a zone.”
Sounds like Saryon is confident in the versatility of his game.
Beating press coverage is highly important in Oregon’s offense as they’ve tended to make a living on short, timing-based passes that require receivers to create separation quickly.
On how he sees himself fitting into the Ducks’ offense:
“I feel like Oregon’s offense is great, they know how to utilize their receivers. I really like how they are super 50/50, they can pass but they could also run whenever they want on whoever they want.”
Balance is an important element of Oregon’s offense which ranked first in the FBS in passing yards in 2023 as well as 30th in rushing yards.

On who he looks up to in the Ducks’ receiving room:
“I think I have a very different playing style but I for sure look up to Tez Johnson and Justius Lowe.”
On what he likes about Oregon:
“The environment is super different, I love the connection the coaches have with the players because I am big on relationships. I like Oregon’s facilities, love the energy!”
This is something we hear from a lot of recruits discussing the Ducks as Dan Lanning and his staff have made connection and culture a top priority in their time in Eugene.
On where he stands in his recruitment:
“Right now I’m just focused on this upcoming season but I don’t really have an idea of when I’m going to be committing yet. I’m just trying to build relationships with coaches right now.”
Sounds like Saryon is fairly early in his recruitment as On3 does not have a clear leader listed in his recruitment. Washington figures to factor in heavily but Oregon carries a lot of momentum out of SNL weekend as well.
It was great to catch up with Terrance Saryon and talk about his skillset and impressions of Oregon.
Fans should pay close attention to his recruitment as he’s picking up a lot of momentum as a prospect, boasting a recent offer from Oregon.
