Tez Johnson Named to Biletnikoff Award Watch List
The awards keep flying in for the Ducks. This time it’s not Dillon Gabriel, it’s one of his favorite targets.
Wide receiver Tez Johnson was named to the Biletnikoff Award watch list on Wednesday. Last year Oregon wide receiver Troy Franklin was in strong contention for the award late in the season. Eventually Ohio State’s Marvin Harrison Jr. won the award.

Johnson finished last season at Oregon with 86 receptions for 1,182 yards and 10 touchdowns. He enters his final year as Oregon’s leading receiver.
About the Award:
The Biletnikoff Award is presented annually to the season’s outstanding college football receiver regardless of position (the award defines receiver as any player who catches a pass hence, tight ends, slot receivers and backs, inside receivers, wide receivers, split ends, and running backs are eligible) by the Tallahassee Quarterback Club Foundation, Inc., (TQCF). The TQC Foundation, Inc., is an independent, charitable organization that was founded in 1994.
