Three takeaways from Oregon's statement win over Arizona State
Oregon entered the week in desperate need of a bounceback win after a tumultuous series of results during its road trip to face the mountain schools. Dana Altman's squad got exactly that and ran Arizona State out of the gym in the second half en route to an 80-61 win Thursday evening at Matthew Knight Arena in Eugene. Jermaine Couisnard scored 19 points on 6-of-13 shooting, and N'Faly Dante added 16 points, six boards, three blocks, and two steals. The Ducks struggled to consistently produce stops in the first half but found another gear in the second half and outscored the Sun Devils 52-28 over the final 20 minutes. Here are three takeaways from Oregon's drubbing of Arizona State.
