Top Oregon DL Target Sets Commitment Date
Oregon is putting the finishing touches on its 2024 recruiting class. Which doesn’t feature a long list of names at this point.
However one of those key targets is Armijo (Calif.) defensive lineman Jericho Johnson. And the 6-foot-3, 320-pounder is set to make a commitment. Johnson told 247Sports’ Brandon Huffman he will announce his college choice on December 21 at 7 PM PST.
Currently Oregon leads the On3 RPM at 93% chance of landing Johnson. That is largely fueled by a prediction I made back on September 26.
Johnson is expected to visit Oregon this weekend for an unofficial visit for the Civil War game. He has yet to take his official visit to Oregon however. He is expected on campus in December ahead of his decision. USC will also likely host the four-star and Washington and Utah also remain threats in his recruitment.

The Ducks have a strong defensive line recruiting class in 2024. Johnson has remained one of the top targets all year under Lanning.
He is currently the No. 140 ranked recruit in the On3 Industry Rankings and No. 16 ranked defensive lineman in the country.
