The All-American accolades continue to roll in for Oregon’s trio of offensive stars.

On Monday, the AP released its year-end All-American teams, and Ducks’ center Jackson Powers-Johnson, receiver Troy Franklin, and quarterback Bo Nix all made the cut.

Powers-Johnson received first-team honors, Franklin was a second-team selection, and Nix was named to the third team.

Last week, Powers-Johnson was also named a Walter Camp and FWAA first-team All-American. He is now just the 11th consensus All-American in program history and will become Oregon’s fifth-ever unanimous All-American if he is selected by Sporting News and the AFCA.

On Friday, Powers-Johnson became the first player in program history to win the Rimington Trophy, which is awarded annually to the top center in the nation. He leads all FBS centers in Pro Football Focus pass-blocking grade (91.3), run-blocking grade (84.2), and overall grade (83.9).

Franklin’s 2023 season is the greatest ever by an Oregon receiver. In 13 games, he has set program records for receptions (81), receiving yards (1,383), and receiving touchdowns (14).

Nix was a finalist for the Heisman Trophy and is in the midst of one of the greatest individual seasons by a quarterback in program history. He leads the nation with a 77.2 completion percentage and is tied for the FBS lead with 40 touchdown passes. Nix ranks second nationally with 318.8 passing yards per game, 4,145 passing yards, and 46 total touchdowns. He is third in total yards per game at 336.4.

Last week, Oregon coach Dan Lanning said Nix will cap off his UO career by playing in the Fiesta Bowl, rather than opting out to prepare for the NFL Draft.

“He’s the ultimate competitor. … I think it speaks to his character and what he thinks of this team,” Lanning said. “What he feels like he owes the players on this team around him. He certainly doesn’t owe anybody anything. For him to go out there and go play, I don’t think it was ever really a question for him. it was just a matter of, ‘Those are things to assess after the situation. I think he took his time to do that and evaluate what he wanted to do moving forward.

“I think any of our players that — it’s not always seen in college football as advantageous for players to just go play. But you gotta remember, you want guys on your team that love to go play for the love of the game. Bo Nix is one of those guys.”
