Two Ducks Land in First Round of NFL Mock Draft
Well the NFL mock draft boards are firing up. And Oregon has a few early round hopefuls heading into this draft season.
Most assume Oregon defensive back Christian Gonzalez will earn a high draft grade. He was one of the best cornerbacks in the Pac-12 conference and nationally. His size, athleticism and skill make him a great fit for the NFL.
On Wednesday CBS Sports posted an early first round mock draft. And no surprise it had Gonzalez on it. What was surprising however was the fact Chris Trapasso listed Oregon quarterback Bo Nix in the first round. To my knowledge it is the first and only mock draft to have Nix going in the first two rounds.
Only USC wide receiver Jordan Addison was the only other Pac-12 player listed in the first round of this mock draft.

Round 1, Pick 13 — Christian Gonzalez
Las Vegas Raiders
The Raiders add some youth to the perimeter cornerback spot on the roster with Gonzalez, who’ll be a riser during the pre-draft process because of his size and athleticism.
Round 1, Pick 23 — Bo Nix
Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Nix feels like the type of quarterback who’ll ascend boards during the pre-draft process because of his athleticism and arm talent.
