Few teams in all of college football saw a greater amount of roster turnover than the Oregon Ducks did this offseason.

Over the course of two transfer portal windows, the Ducks added 14 scholarship players via the portal. They also landed a 30-player 2023 signing class that was the eighth-best in the nation, according to the On3 Industry Ranking.

When you factor in the walk-on additions that Oregon has added, too, it’s a significant overhaul.

“We have over 50 new guys in our program that really fit what we do,” Lanning said during his press conference at Oregon’s media day on Monday. “I think they’ll create some schematic advantages for us. They create some great matchups for us that we can take advantage of. It’s no secret our theme this offseason has been good to great. We all know that good is the enemy of great and we’re trying to fight complacency every day, trying to make sure that we never stay satisfied.”

On Monday, Oregon released its updated roster ahead of fall camp and included players from the 2023 signing class who were not with the program during spring ball, as well as four transfer portal additions who joined the Ducks in May.

Here’s a rundown of the jersey number for each newcomer, as well as a handful of updates on returners who have opted to switch numbers. The lone player who was listed on the program’s 2023 spring roster but was not included on the updated roster is sophomore defensive back JJ Greenfield.

Lanning confirmed on Monday that Greenfield has left the program.
