Updated Prediction on Oregon OL Target
This key stretch of the recruiting calendar brings on a lot of rapid changes. And one of Oregon’s key offensive line targets, Waipahu (Hawaii) star Preston Taumua has been one of those rapid changers.
The 6-foot-3, 300-pounder is the No. 237 ranked player in the On3 Industry Rankings. He is the No. 1 player from the Islands of Hawaii.
Back on June 22 I logged a prediction in favor of Oregon. At the time, with the last official visit and other factors, it looked like the Ducks were in great shape with Taumua. However in the last week it seems as though most of the momentum has shifted to Nebraska.

I’ve warned for the past week I was really close to flipping my pick to Nebraska and now it’s time to do so. Moments ago I updated my pick from Oregon to Nebraska with a confidence of 75%. It would appear Matt Rhule and the Huskers have made a very strong move for the four-star since his official visits.
Currently Oregon has four offensive line commitments. With only Devin Brooks projected as an interior offensive lineman.
With Taumua currently tending for Nebraska, here is a look at where Oregon might turn if he ends up a Husker.
The Ducks have the No. 10 ranked recruiting class with On3 and has 19 verbal commitments.
