USC Game Week Special: 50% Off Annual Subs
Good morning Duck fans, we have a big game week special on tap for you this week. This week only you have a chance to get an annual subscription to ScoopDuck for half off your first year. This special runs this week only.
I get this a lot on Twitter/Facebook. Why would I pay for information or to read about the Ducks? Well, it’s a good question and it’s not for everyone. But for some it has value.
For starters consider this, your first year of trying out ScoopDuck will cost you about $4.60 per month. Yes that is less than $5 per month. You don’t need an example from me, but that is probably the cheapest form of entertainment you can find on the planet. That is if you like reading about your beloved Ducks.
So why should you pay that $4.60 per month?
Well for starters, community. We have a tremendous community of people. Not just Duck fans. People. Tons of interactions not just about the Ducks. Sometimes we share travel plans, pets, restaurant suggestions, ticket sales, you name it and we probably discuss it. (Unless its politics or religion) Our vibrant community is the backbone of our site and some of the stories we’ve shared have brought complete strangers together.
We have some of the most well-respected Duck posters in the market. Every week Doug and QB11 post their well-respected podcasts here. LegalizeQuack continues to entertain us with his videos. Corpatty, Travis Rooke-ley, KeepOnDucking, so many of the best posters in the community. (DP JRIV, IYKYK)
Yes our site has it all. We have an app, a state-of-the art database, rankings, notifications, all of the things that make tracking your Ducks easier. Right at your fingertips. Making it easier for you to go to only one spot for all your Duck information.
While we focus on football and recruiting, our staff will cover other sports all year like basketball, baseball, softball and Spring football. Our team of reporters, led by Jarrid Denney, are on the ground in Eugene, attending games, practices and press conferences every week.

Why ScoopDuck specifically you ask? (Half Off Link)
Well, nobody delivers the inside scoop on recruiting. NOBODY. I see folks say “why pay to read that when I can just find it on Twitter in a day or two?” Well that’s true, you might be able to. Often times the information I see on social media is inaccurate or doesn’t offer the full scope of information we can provide. It’s not just visitors or commitments, we are making predictions and offering the real intel on which recruits Oregon is prioritizing, nearly always ahead of any other site in this market. And we aren’t just first, we offer a high level of accuracy with our information.
Lastly that same information ‘you can find on Twitter’ often came from ScoopDuck. Its information we worked hard to obtain and pass along before others rushed to social media or other sites promoting it as their information. Why not reward those who are working every day and bringing you that information? Why not support those that spend the time doing this each and every day to deliver you this incredible experience?
Well you don’t have to by any means, but at some point without those resources available, the information dries up. And we all go find jobs doing something else so we can support our families.
So that’s why you ‘pay for information.’ Which is really the wrong way of looking at it. You’re getting information and accuracy but also keeping folks employed to do this each and every day so that information is actually reported. And we’d love to have you as part of our beloved ScoopDuck community.
Thanks for listening to my Ted Talk. Go Ducks.
