On Tuesday morning Colorado head coach Deion Sanders spent time with reporters. His opening remarks talked about the viewership of the Colorado/Colorado State game and the Buffs selling out all remaining season tickets.

Oregon and Colorado are one of the top games this week in college football. With both teams entering the contest unbeaten.

You can watch the entire video below. Here are some of the top remarks from Sanders on the game with Oregon. He conducted the press conference with a hat and sunglasses on.

On Travis Hunter:

“Travis is doing great, got out of the hospital yesterday. He’s at home doing homework, playing video games.”

On Cornerback Replacements:

“The plan is corner by committee. We’re looking for the next man up.”

“We’re not trying to be resilient. We haven’t played a complete game yet. We gotta put it all together to beat a team like Oregon in that manner.”

On the Henry Blackburn Death Threats:

“Henry Blackburn is a good player who played a phenomenal game. He made a tremendous hit on Travis on the sideline, you could call it dirty, he was just playing the game of football. But whatever it was, it does not constitute that he should be receiving death threats. This is still a young man trying to make it in life, a guy that’s trying to live his dream and hopefully graduate with honors, a degree. He does not deserve a death threat over a game. At the end of the day this is a game, someone must win, someone must lose. Everyone continues their life the next day. Very unfortunate. I’m saddened if there’s any of our fans that’s on the other side of those threats. I forgive him, our team forgive him, Travis he’s forgiven him. Let’s move on.”

Targets on His Players Backs:

“There’s a target on every great players back. That should challenge your offensive line to do their job. Bo Nix is pretty darn good too, we want to stop him. But we’re not going to do anything absurd or dirty. That’s not what we do.”

On Lanning’s Comments about CU:

“I respect the heck out of this man, what he’s accomplished. Stepping in, taking over a program and keeping it, not only rocking steady, but accelerating it. I respect the heck out of him. I love who he is, the way he runs his team, the way he operates.”
