Washington HC Jedd Fisch: "I expect it to be really loud."
On Monday Washington head coach Jedd Fisch met with media to discuss the regular season finale with Oregon. The Huskies have played a number of tough road games this season but Fisch noted they will be preparing for the most hostile environment this weekend.
Washington has a bit of a battle going at the quarterback position late in the season. Last week they saw Demond Williams come in and give the Washington offense a spark. Fisch dodged the question however not naming a quarterback ahead of Oregon.
Here are most of his top comments about Oregon with the video included at the bottom.
Opening Statement:
“Looking forward to this week obviously in Eugene. Should be a fantastic game against the No. 1 team in the country. Certainly have a lot of respect for the way they play. We have to bring our best team with us on Saturday. Looking forward to it though. Good bye week.”
On Naming a QB Starter:
“We won’t announce any starters at the quarterback position if that’s the question. I have a good idea on that. (who he plans to start) We’re not afraid to play two quarterbacks as well.”

On Playing on the Road:
“We’ve gone on the road and played in the white out at Penn State, black out at Rutgers, red out at Indiana. We’ve learned a lot with each one being different. Being able to start fast, not finish, start slow but finish strong. This is an opportunity to go into a very hostile environment. It’s going to be loud, energetic, enthusiastic. I’m sure it’s their senior day. I would assume it’s going to be an incredible environment to play football in.”
On Rivalry:
“For me I’d have to be on social media to see that. You catch glimpses of it. It’s not hard to know. That’s the beauty of these games. You hope it becomes a great football game. We need to play a clean game. I think it’s really good that your conference opponent ends your season. I think having a conference rivalry game has a bigger impact and that’s what makes it special.”
On Loudest Stadium he’s been in:
“University of Washington. Husky stadium.”
