The Oregon football program is closing the book on fall camp and beginning preparation for its highly-anticipated Week 1 matchup with Georgia.
The Ducks held their 18th preseason practice on Thursday and will officially conclude fall camp on Saturday. As they turn their attention to the No. 3-ranked Bulldogs, though, the coaching staff is still evaluating a handful of position battles.
That includes the starting quarterback competition, which is still being kept under wraps.
“Everyday evaluation; we chart everything,” Lanning said. “We watch every single period. The only reason I’m not talking about it with (reporters) is I don’t know why that’s an advantage for us. If I felt like an advantage I would tell you guys. I don’t.”
