Oregon’s 11th spring practice is officially in the books.

The Ducks held their second scrimmage of the spring on Saturday and worked through some typically sporadic Eugene weather. Ducks’ coach Dan Lanning said the defense “probably had the day today” after the offense got the better of them during last weekend’s scrimmage.

“There was certainly some adversity out there — we did some situational work just as we did before,” Lanning said. “Happy to see our guys go out there and work, embrace the weather, and get after it.”

Lanning did not specify what exactly the defense did to win the day, but said they had a good day in general. He also noted the offense did very well in third-down scenarios.
