Watch: Dan Lanning discusses Oregon's spring game
Dan Lanning had plenty to be excited about after his Oregon program delivered a memorable performance in front of 42,000 fans during Saturday’s spring game at Autzen Stadium.
In his first live showing at Autzen, Lanning put Kenny Dillingham’s up-tempo offense on display, and also gave fans a first glimpse at what he and Tosh Lupou’s defense will look like in 2022.
During his post-scrimmage press conference, Lanning made an effort to thank the fanbase on several occasions and praised the communities’ willingness to support his program.

“What an awesome atmosphere — I mean, this is why you come to Oregon,” Lanning said during his opening statement Saturday. “So thrilled to have our alumni come back, our fans to be so supportive. “Shout” in the third quarter, you wonder what that’s going to feel like, and seeing it firsthand was a special moment.”
Lanning talked in detail on Saturday about some of the aspects he liked about his team’s performance and some areas that still need improvement.
