Watch: Dan Lanning discusses Oregon's upcoming matchup with Utah
Oregon head coach Dan Lanning met with reporters Wednesday for his weekly media availability and discussed a plethora of topics regarding his team.
The Ducks are looking to turn the page quickly following a difficult loss to Washington last weekend and will need to bounce back quickly against Utah.
Lanning was asked if he spent time digging into the film from the Utes’ win over the Ducks last season to get a better understanding of why his players were so frustrated with their own performances.
“Not so much about the frustration piece; we certainly studied those last year, and even during offseason prep,” Lanning said. “Because this is a new team and they’ve had a lot of games this season. but certainly watched those in the offseason and a little bit this week.”

Lanning also addressed how his team can avoid self-inflicted errors, noting that the support of Oregon’s home crowd on Saturday should provide a big boost.
“One thing that makes this situation special for us is that our fans have an opportunity to make an impact on this game,” Lanning said. “Playing on the road is a lot different than playing at home, and vice versa. Being that the game is here — I think that’s a big benefit for us.”
