Oregon’s home finale ended in heartbreak as the Ducks came up one shot short and fell 70-69 against No. 16 USC at Matthew Knight Arena on Saturday.

Trojans’ guard Drew Peterson hit a go-ahead three-pointer with 11.5 seconds to go, and Will Richardson’s shot at the buzzer was no good. With the loss, the Ducks fall to 18-11 on the season and 10-7 in Pac-12 play.

Afterward, Oregon coach Dana Altman met briefly with reporters and discussed the decision-making on the final possession of the game and what the result means for his team going forward.
