Watch: Drew Mehringer discusses decision to come to Oregon, Ducks' tight ends

Drew Mehringer isn’t shy about his expectations for Oregon’s tight ends.
“The one thing that I have conveyed is I want to be the best unit on the team,” Mehringer said while meeting with reporters on Thursday. “Regardless, just out of competitive nature.”
He doubled down on that assertion later in his interview when he was asked what he wants Oregon’s tight end room to be known for.
“I want us to be the best unit in the country,” Mehringer said. “If we’re not trying to do that, what are we doing?”
With a group that features Terrance Ferguson, Moliki Matavao, Spencer Webb, Patrick Herbert, and Cam McCormick, Mehringer certainly has no shortage of talent to work with.
