When Junior Adams arrived in Eugene, he inherited a wide receiver room that is stocked full of young, talented pass-catchers.
It’s still early days for Adams at Oregon, but he’s happy so far with the effort and commitment the Ducks’ receivers have shown since he was appointed as the program’s wide receivers coach and co-offensive coordinator. He met with reporters Saturday for the first time since joining Dan Lanning’s staff and went into detail on a few specific players.

Throughout his press conference, Adams discussed what specifically he’s liked about Seven McGee, Kris Hutson, Dont’e Thornton, and a handful of other Oregon recievers this spring.
“My first impression was there’s some good talent in the room,” Adams said. “Obviously there’s some youth. … Some young guys like (Troy Franklin) and Dont’e and some of those guys. But they’re developing. It’s a process; we all understand that. They’re coming out every day, having fun, and competing.”
