The Oregon Ducks kept their College Football Playoff hopes intact Saturday with a thrilling 38-30 win over Texas Tech.

But the win did not result in any sort of significant gain in the national polls.

On Sunday, updated versions of the AP Poll and USA Today Coaches Polls were released, and Oregon did not gain or lose ground in either poll.

The Ducks held strong at No. 13 in the AP Poll and were one of seven Pac-12 programs to crack the top-25 along with USC (No. 6), Washington (No. 8), Utah (No. 12), Oregon State (No. 16), Colorado (No. 19), and Washington State (No. 23).

In the Coaches Poll, Oregon also held steady at No. 13.

USC (No. 5), Washington (No. 8), Utah (No. 12), Oregon State (No. 17), Colorado (No. 21), and UCLA (No. 25) also landed inside the top 25.

Oregon will look to improve to 3-0 next week when it hosts Hawaii at 5:30 p.m. PT in Eugene.

“We talk about a game that took all 60 minutes, it took every second,” Oregon coach Dan Lanning said of his team’s win in Lubbock. “I think that game could look a lot different if we didn’t shoot ourselves in the foot so much with penalties on defense and offense alike. Gotta be better on third down in some situations. I thought their quarterback played with incredible toughness; he was able to run the ball on us. There are some issues walking in; our team’s excited to go fix issues. That being said, really tough environment to go play in.

“A lot of teams would have lost their cool when things weren’t going well and our guys kept their composure throughout the game. They were calm and composed, they had a plan for adversity and then went out there and executed when it mattered.”
