There were more Oregon players selected during the 2023 NFL Draft than there were during any Draft since 2009.

In total, six Ducks heard their names called throughout seven rounds from April 27-29.

Once the draft concluded Sunday afternoon, a flurry of former Oregon standouts landed undrafted free agent deals with NFL teams.

Here’s a rundown of which Ducks have signed three-year UDFA deals since the end of the 2023 NFL Draft.

Oregon UDFA signees

Offensive lineman T.J. Bass signed with the Dallas Cowboys. A three-year starter for the Ducks who spent time at left guard and left tackle, Bass was named an All-American by The Athletic and Phil Steele last season. Bass garnered a 78.2 overall offensive grade from Pro Football Focus in 2022, which was sixth-best among Pac-12 tackles.

Defensive back Bennett Williams signed with the Miami Dolphins. A two-year starter who earned honorable mention all-conference honors in 2022, Williams led the Ducks with 72 tackles and grabbed two interceptions last season. He played 787 defensive snaps, the most of any Oregon defender.

Receiver Chase Cota signed with the Detroit Lions. After beginning his career at UCLA, Cota transferred to UO for his senior season and started the first eight games of the year for the Ducks before being sidelined with an injury. He finished the 2022 campaign with a career-high 36 receptions for 497 yards and three touchdowns. Cota earned honorable mention all-conference honors.

Former Ducks who have signed UDFA contracts

Former Oregon running back Travis Dye, who spent his final college seasons at USC, signed with the New York Jets. In four seasons with the Ducks, Dye racked up 3,111 rushing yards — the fifth-most in program history. In 2021, he led Oregon with 1,271 rushing yards and 16 touchdowns.

Former Oregon receiver and cornerback Daewood Davis signed with the Maimi Dolphins. Davis spent the past two seasons at Western Kentucky, where he was one of Conference USA’s top receivers. He caught 63 passes for 872 yards and seven touchdowns in 2022.
