Quote of the day
“I think that one of the best things that we have in our room is that our guys are selfless. They want to compete with each other. Don’t get me wrong, they all want the same thing. But they know that they need each other to make it happen. They also know that we’re competing against other position groups for how many of us will play. Coach Franklin says all the time, he’s going to put the best personnel out there. There are times to be varied with it and all that. But, they’re competing against other rooms, too. And, they take pride in that as well.
“So they push each other. They know we’ve got a long season. They need each other. To go where we want to go, it’s going to take more than just one guy who’s the Alpha. You need multiple guys, and we’ve seen that here in the past with our tight end room.”
–PSU TEs coach Ty Howle on the competition in his position room.
