Anthony Ivey among Penn State's latest wave of weekend arrivals
Penn State football’s collection of weekend enrollees has increased by one, BWI has confirmed. Already set to welcome Kaleb Artis, Dani Dennis-Sutton, Mehki Flowers, K.J. Winston, and Keon Wylie, to campus on Sunday, receiver Anthony Ivey is also on board to move in.
They’re also joined by Lackawanna College safety Tyrece Mills, who BWI confirmed with Penn State joined the roster on Sunday.
With the latest crop of additions, the group will have two weeks to acclimate to the program as part of the summer access period before the start of the second summer session on Wednesday, June 29.
Anthony Ivey’s addition
A four-star prospect from Lancaster, Pa., Ivey finished in the Class of 2022 rankings at No. 235 nationally according to the On3 Consensus. He’s also ranked No. 41 among all receivers and No. 7 in Pennsylvania.
Ivey is one of four receivers to arrive as part of Penn State’s Class of 2022 recruiting efforts. The addition of graduate transfer Mitchell Tinsley makes the influx five. And, with Ivy as part of the group’s arrival to the program, expectations are optimistic for his future with the Nittany Lions.
“Anthony has all the talent in the world,” Manheim Township head coach Mark Evans told BWI. “I felt from the very beginning, even before he played for our varsity squad, that he had the potential to play at the highest level.

“He has some of those things that you just can’t coach. You either have the size and the speed to make things happen or you don’t. I would also say that, at his position, you have to have those ball awareness skills, that depth perception, that no one can really coach. He’s got all of that.”
Next steps
With the latest wave of move-ins, plus Ivey, Penn State’s remaining Class of 2022 members to bring in will be left to Ken Talley and Vega Ioane. Ioane is expected to arrive to Penn State the weekend of June 25.
The start of the second summer academic session begins on Wednesday, June 29.
Players who arrived in January included Nick Singleton, Drew Allar, Kaden Saunders, Kaytron Allen, J.B. Nelson, Jerry Cross, Zane Durant, Beau Pribula, Omari Evans, and transfer Mitchell Tinsley. The likes of Hunter Nourzad, Alex Bacchetta, Tyler Johnson, Cristian Driver, Cam Miller, and Drew Shelton arrived in mid-May. And, Maleek McNeil, Abdul Carter, and Demeioun Robinson arrived last weekend.
