The Blue White Illustrated staff was chatting with our premium subscribers over the weekend to discuss what’s happening with Penn State football and several other topics. Among the questions this week:

  • What’s the premature feedback on the WR transfers?
  • Is PSU making the same push to get kids to attend the Blue/White game this year?
  • With big money guys leaving the program after the ‘25 season (Drew, Kaytron, Singleton, etc) do you think Penn State would be more willing to spend on high level recruits in ‘26 or ‘27 (however the accounting works) or do you think there are enough guys on the roster who will earn a raise that will eat that money up again?
  • With the new release of the On300. Penn State typically finds the most success in the 100-300 range and there are a lot of regional recruits that fit that bill. I know NIL throws a wrench into things, but who are the ones that at least heading into Official visits that you and Ryan feel the best about landing here?
  • We seem pretty active in California in 26 and landed Dixon and Arrington last cycle. Is that due to staff with history there or is this evidence that PSU’s national footprint is increasing?
  • What does the staff see as the biggest need in the spring portal window?
