BWI Chat: Penn State enters preseason home stretch
Penn State head coach James Franklin’s belief in the power of competition is unflinching. Through nine previous preseasons with the Nittany Lions, that has been true.
And in his 10th, nothing has changed as the beginning of the 2023 campaign nears.
Meeting with reporters this week, Franklin held firm that top-line decisions had not yet been made. So, while the team had been split into its developmental squad, battles still needed to play out at a number of positions across the field.
This week, Blue White Illustrated has taken a keen interest in the progress of those battles. Senior reporter Nate Bauer provided two updates on Wednesday projecting winners, and holding off on those still to be determined, of the most competitive positions.
