Penn State practice preview
The Penn State football team gears up for another Big Ten opponent this weekend when they face UCLA at Beaver Stadium. We’ll get our first and only look at the team’s preparations for the upcoming game tonight when the the Nittany Lions open up practice. Host Greg Pickel takes you through what BWI is looking for in the weekly ten-minute window. We’ll also preview head coach James Franklin’s post-practice interview, which you can watch moments after its conclusion tonight.
The Tuesday BWI Live show is so stocked with interesting conversations that we get fewer mailbag questions each week than we would like. This week, we hit an all-time low. Reviewing the best performances from this past weekend
Finally, we’ll take one last look at Penn State’s win over Illinois and highlight some underrated aspects of the game in our review of the weekly film breakdown. Penn State defensive coordinator Tom Allen finally deployed defensive end Abdul Carter as a linebacker during the previous game. What went into that, and how did he perform in those situations? We’ll discuss how the move wasn’t exactly what you’d think.
