The Penn State Nittany Lions Football team is in full offseason mode. The team is wrapping up roster announcements for the current players but the staff is pivoting quickly to full recruiting mode for the 2026 recruiting class and beyond. Penn State gets more roster news for 2025

Before we dive headfirst into recruiting, there’s more roster information to discuss regarding the return of Dom DeLuca and JB Nelson for the upcoming season. What does their return do for the roster in 2025? Can Penn State keep all of the offensive linemen it has on the roster happy?

Next, we’ll dive into the recent news with Big Ten foe Rutgers. Penn State lost a recruiting battle for three-star athlete Elias Coke on Wednesday to the Scarlet Knights, and the next day, a former Nittany Lion chose them as his transfer destination. Former Penn State cornerback Cam Miller is headed to New Jersey to continue his college career. We’ll discuss the impact of those moves for Penn State.
