Our reporters will discuss the news and what the change means for offensive line coach Phil Trautwein and the offense moving forward.

We’ll also discuss Fitz’s recent string of articles on the site about the team’s depth chart to start camp and Snyder’s cataloging of recruits coming to campus.

Recruiting news and notes

We covered 2026 athlete David Davis’s commitment earlier in the week on the BWI YouTube channel, but we’ll follow up with a longer discussion on today’s show. Snyder spoke with On3 recruiting director Charles Power about what he’s seen from Davis on film and what made him a take for Penn State. We’ll also review the initial 2027 recruiting rankings and what important facets and facts our reporters took away from the first salvo of rankings.

Lastly, we’ll discuss some Penn State-related news, including one of the team’s top defenisve end targets scheduling official visits to rival schools this summer.

Finally, we’ll discuss the visitors who have come to Penn State recently and their feedback about the program.
