Penn State practice preview

The Penn State football team opens up practice on Wednesday evening for the team’s weekly meeting with the media. We’ll preview what we expect to learn from the team’s open practice window and conversation with head coach James Franklin later that evening.

Kent State Preview

As you might expect, most of the show will focus on the upcoming game this Saturday. First, we’ll discuss Kent State and its historically bad start to the 2024 season. Host Greg Pickel shares some statistics about the team’s ineffectiveness through three games. After losing 71-0 to Tennessee last week, does Penn State have to match that domination? Can fans draw a clear conclusion about any disparity in domination between the two situations?

We’ll discuss those ideas and try to put the upcoming game in a fair light for both teams.

Next, we’ll look at things from the Penn State side. What does the team need to do in the final non-conference game against an inferior opponent to be ready for Big Ten Play? We’ll have three items on our checklist for both offense and defense that we’d like to see the team accomplish after the game kicks off at 3:30 on Saturday.
