The Penn State Nittany Lions Football team is 10-1 after a win over Minnesota on the road this past weekend. The team enters the final week of the regular season against a 4-7 Maryland team on the cusp of its first-ever College Football Playoff bid. But not everything went smoothly in Minnesota this past weekend. The team suffered a significant blow on both sides of the line of scrimmage, losing players to long-term injuries. Penn State defeated Minnesota 26-25 on Saturday in a closer-than-anticipated outcome. The victory also came with a costly price. Penn State head coach James Franklin announced that both starting right tackle Anthony Donkoh and key reserve defensive tackle Alonzo Ford sustained long-term injuries during the win.
