Fitz’s recruiting update
Penn State got a surprise commitment after a week of surprise commitments this past weekend. Pennsylvania native and 2027 running back Kemon Spell committed to the program on Sunday, nearly three full years before his college enrollment date. Fitz will discuss the meaning of such an early commitment and what it says about Spell.
He’ll also discuss some of the rule changes in college football and how they are affecting the team’s recruiting strategies for the Class of 2025 and beyond.

We’ll discuss what Fitz and Bauer discussed with their interview subjects, plus highlight comments that head coach James Franklin and offensive coordinator Andy Kotelnicki made at the podium.
We discuss the defensive end depth situation after the losses to that position since the spring and we dive into a conversation about the wide receivers. Are they ready to play with more physicality? We’ll play a clip from Kotelnicki that raises the question.
