BWI Live Recruiting Show: Penn State Lasch Bash weekend review
Penn State football capped off the summer recruiting schedule with a pair of minicamps over the weekend. Not only was it the last time for recruits to impress the staff at the final elite showcase camp on Friday, but this weekend was the Lasch Bash event for select recruits.
We discuss all of the important information from this weekend on the BWI Live Recruiting Show. Insider Sean Fitz was at both camps this weekend and shares his thoughts about what he observed. Meanwhile, Ryan Snyder caught up with several prospects who attended the Lasch Bash and will give his thoughts on his conversations with those prospects.

Penn State Camp review
The Elite Showcase IV camp occurred Friday afternoon at the Lasch practice facility. Which players stood out among the hundreds in attendance? Fitz runs down the notable players that made an impression on him during the extended afternoon with lighting delays due to inclement weather in the area Friday.
Next, he’ll review what he saw from the Penn State offensive and defensive line commits and young prospects that competed during the exclusive mini camp on Saturday. Nearly the entire offensive and defensive line classes from 2024 attended the event and put on a show. Be sure to tune in to see highlights from the event.

Lasch Bash Reaction
Fitz and Snyder were also gathering reactions from key recruits that attended the Lasch Bash Barbeque on Saturday this weekend. You can check out the full interviews on the site, but Fitz and Snyder will recap some of their conversations and give additional context to their reporting from the last two days.
Some players they spoke with include 2024 cornerback target Sione Laulea, 2025 offensive line target Michael Carroll and safety prospect Kainoa Winston.
Lastly, the group will review new offers after the final camp in #BeyondBlessed.
